Back to school with spiders

Hello,  how wonderful it was to return to school this week!  Thank you for your contributions to the journals and for sending in the family photos.  We will make something with the family photos so please send in a family photograph if you have not already.  Thank you!

The itsy, bitsy spider climbed up the water spout.

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.

And here is our story from the week, which I just love!  "Arggghh!  Spider!" is the story about a family (great for an introduction to our non-English speakers of mommy, daddy, sister, brother) and a pet (great kick off for activities on animals).

We continue to work on our literacy and numeracy skills evidence of which you will see in the children's files and "cahiers de vie."  On this blog, I like to recap our songs + stories.  I also use the blog to convey information and to that end, please send in any fabric scraps you have.  We are going to sew in the beginning of December.
